Debuting in 1993, the "i Channel" was an in-house entertainment channel exclusive to Sky Cable that primarily aired children's shows (under the "Kids Central" banner) mixed with other movies and programs targeted towards adults around noon time or late in the evening. Patting themselves in the back as "cable TV's no. 1" wasn't too bold of a claim considering they pretty much had zero competition. i Channel wasn’t just a kids’ channel from Sky Cable. It also catered to stay-at-home moms with programs like "Homeworks", which aired during the afternoon right when the kids were down for their naps. The show also fell under their L.I.F.E. umbrella, which was later spun off into a separate channel called the Lifestyle Network that ran for several years before taking on its final form the Metro Channel that still stands today. | UndustFixation
